The Tennessee Valley LEGO Club will host a special Halloween workshop for kids at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library on Friday, October 18, at 3:30 pm. Kids ages 6-12 can come and participate in a LEGO monster building contest. We'll provide the bricks and prizes, and kids can keep their creations after the event. Space is limited to 24 children, so call the library at 256-532-5940 to reserve your spot!

Enjoy our huge new layout, featuring multiple trains and lots of fun themes! Our display areas will also include original creations (MOCs) and side displays. Tubs of bricks and Hero Factory will be out for young builders to enjoy. We’ll have door prizes and bingo, and TNVLC members will answer your questions about their hobby!

The Tennessee Valley LEGO Club, a local group of adult LEGO enthusiasts, will host its summer show at the main branch of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library on Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, 2013, in the auditorium of the library. Tickets are $5 per person, and the public is invited to attend. The show runs from 9 am until 5 pm on Saturday and from 1 pm until 5 pm on Sunday.

 The display includes a large collaborative town and train layout with working LEGO trains, side tables with smaller layouts, and a collection of original LEGO creations by club members. A children’s play area will feature regular LEGO bricks and an all-new collection of Hero Factory pieces. Club members will be on hand throughout the event to answer guests’ questions and talk about their creations.

 Over 100 LEGO prizes will be given away during the event, with free bingo games and door prizes on both days of the show. Prizes include Creator and Technic sets donated by the LEGO Company as well as Star Wars sets and other LEGO items generously provided by club members. Guests can also pick up LEGO Club Magazines and LEGO Store event calendars during the show.

Our fall marathon has begun! We just finished a great show in Chattanooga and are looking forward to Southerland Station Dec 1 & 2. Hope you can make it!

We'll be meeting at the Huntsville Library's main brach in the A/B room this Saturday, 11/3 from noon until 2. There's actually another group in there right before us so the Library has suggested a 30 minute "grace" period. Therefore, don't worry about getting there too early. Hopefully we'll be able to start right after noon.
